Moving servicenow application from one instance to another different instance

How to move an application from one instance to another.

I got to know that an application can be moved through publishing to application repository but that was for dev instance to another. 

This is from one instance A to another B.

is there any sort or integration or something else let me know

What kind of application? Is it a custom one, or something activated from the Store? 

Also: what's the difference between the instances? On a DEV, you publish to the repository and you can install it on all entitled instances, but they need to be connected. 
If the connection isn't there, you will need to publish it to an update set and import it like any other update set.

If it's a Store plugin/application, you can just install it from the store.
