I have a list field which will be populated with all the contracts a user is associated with.
When a customer admin reads this field, it should display only those contracts to which the admin has access to and hide the rest.
Is this possible? If so how?

Ahoy @vidhya_mouli,
it is possible via ACL or query business rule, maybe some more options exist but these 2 would be the recommended.
Depending on your platform security governance and identity management. It can be achieved by assigning a role or groups, eventually based on some conditions (e.g. Contract Field1 is A > visibility, Contract Field 1 is B > visibility, Contract Field 2 is C > visibility, ...)
Feel free to discuss in more details

Already tried using ACL and Query BR. Even though it restrict access to the contract, the same contract when added to list field, it is visible.

Why not use advanced reference qualifier on that and handle the records visible?
