Need to change the template of PIR on Major Incident Management SOW

Hi Team,

When Major Incident is resolved Post Incident Report is created (PIR), our client wants that to be in different format than it is available.

As per our knowledge it can be achieved by updating UI pages. but is there a small configuration to be made to make this changes in servicenow?

Thanks ,

Pooja

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG , Thank you for the reply.

This is the only way right , there is no way to do via template update?

Thanks,

Pooja

Hi @Pooja P

I don't think using templates will be helpful here.
Templates are more like standalone components, and if you use them, you'll need to build all the required relationships with the MI manually. This could lead to increased technical debt.

It's better to go with the out-of-the-box (OOTB) approach provided by ServiceNow.
