Need to Create Labels on a VTB

I have a user that want to create new labels on a VTB he owns but this is not possible without the correct Rights.             I am unsure of the rights to give him and how?  Thanks!

1. Go to the VTB Board:

   • Navigate to Self-Service > Visual Task Boards
   • Open the board where the user needs access.

2. Manage Board Members & Roles:

   • Click the More options (three-dot menu) > Edit Board
   • Scroll down to Users & Roles
   • Find the user and ensure they have the Edit or Admin role.

Required Roles for Label Management:

• Edit: Allows modifying tasks, columns, and some board settings.
• Admin: Full control over the board, including creating labels, changing settings, and managing access.

If the user is unable to create labels after these changes, check if the vtb_admin role is required for their instance setup. Would you like help verifying this?

Hello, when I impersonated the user I was able to create and edit labels, so I didn't need to check his roles, but can you tell me where are the three dots you referred to in your reply to me?  So that I will know for the future.

Issue is not with role, issue is label. The label you want to create already exits.

The error shows that the label name is already exiting, so you can't create the same label. Try to give a different name.
