Hi All
I am trying to Integrate Nimsoft with ServiceNow and the documentation provided by wiki on this is very little, due to which I am not able to understand how to utilize the plug-in so that I can establish a bi-directional connection.
I am wondering if the integration has to be done using the Plug-in via ECC queue or using the web services? If we have to do it using the Plug-in and ECC queue then could you please help me understand what are the basic steps to setup the integration so that the entry is added to the ECC queue. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Ashwin

I'm currently working on this with the CA Cloud Service Management Beta (Nimsoft Spring 2014 release). I'm not having much luck, most likely to do with the Nimsoft side not recognizing the WSDLs correctly.

Hi guys -- I looked at the Nimsoft provided documentation for their integration and it looks pretty limited, and it also writes directly to the incident table WSDL.
If you want an alternative, we have an event management application that runs on ServiceNow, and we provide it with a free license for customers who just want to use a single integration point. Evanios Operations - Event Management Application for ServiceNow
We have an extension to the MID server which can receive SNMP traps, read log files, receive data via REST, or receive data from our command line client. This makes it pretty easy to integrate with any monitoring system. If it can run a command line client, generate an SNMP trap, etc -- we can absorb the data.
We have a number of integrations already built -- Nagios, Solarwinds, Zabbix, BMC PATROL, etc. Nimsoft is on our roadmap. If you'd be willing to work with us and collaborate on the build, I'm sure I can get it bumped up in priority.

Hey Andy,
I'm looking at the Nimsoft integration (now known as CA Cloud Service Management) for the Service Desk platform. I just finished the beta for the Spring 2014 release and found a few bugs in setting up the Web Services Credentials for Service Now. Once the bugs have been worked out, I can start building out the integration and will publish it as a plugin.
