No response from server - try again later

Hi All,

When I am trying to edit field from report, the field is being grayed out and showing error 'No response from server - try again later'.   Please suggest me what could be causing this error.

Can you provide more information?. From which table you are trying this? Share us a screen shot with the error.

In case anyone else finds this while looking for solutions, our reporting person updated the color scheme for one of her charts. Suddenly she started receiving the "No response from server" or "Loading report". In our case one of the color she pick didn't have a hex code associated with it in the sys_report_color table. The name was there, but no hex code for color. As soon as she put in the hex code the report started rendering properly.

In our case it was a pie chart. A list view wouldn't be affected by this issue.
