NONE as default value for reference field

Can we set none as default value for the reference field type?

Kindly help on this.

Hi Sobitha,

To achieve this you need to create a new value in the referenced table with name as 'None'.

Then go to Configure Dictionary of the desired field and add Sys-Id of the 'None' value in the Default Value section.

Right click on configure dictionary .

click on the section choice list specification and choice type as drop-down with none.
