not able to add column in any tables

Hi,

I am not able to add columns to any tables and getting "Security prevents writing to this field" message, which has been working fine so far but it started not working for some reason.

Attached is a newly created table but even system admin cannot add any columns on this and same issue happens on existing tables.   

Any insights on this? Thanks in advance.

Please check, if there has been a modification to any of the ACL on sys_dictionary table.

In your picture - there is a gear icon - click it and check "Enable list edit". May be that is the issue.

Hi Sanjiv, ScienceSoft, thanks for your reply. I checked both of them but still struggle to figure it out what happened. Keep trying to check any system related configuration or properties.   

Please let us know if anyone hit any possible causes on this issue.

Hi All, thanks for your help. Since this issue addressed, I would like to share information with you that it is all about a setting of Dictionary Entry table which makes the field read-only.
