On-call schedule PTO is not working when the property "com.snc.on_call_rotation.pto.con" is active

I activated the property com.snc.on_call_rotation.pto.con to enable PTO with approval.
However, when I assign PTO to users, the calendar shows the name of a different user.
These are my findings so far:
When the property is inactive, the record is inserted into the Schedule Entries table (cmn_schedule_span), but when it's active, the record goes into the roster_schedule_span table. The issue occurs when multiple users share the same schedule, leading the system to assign PTO to the wrong user.
From what I understand, I need to remove the schedule from each user. I found this KB article:

The issue is that I still need each user to have their group schedule assigned, an not only one schedule for each user. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?"
