OpenFrame API setPresenceIndicator

Within the OpenFrame API, calling setPresenceIndicator('AVAILABLE', 'green') seems to work fine for the small phone icon in the top right-hand corner. However, this method seems to have no impact on the Inbox statuses within Configurable Workspaces. Is this API method supposed to change those statuses as well?
