Order Guide - Parent Reference number

Hi,
We use an Onboarding Request form that calls an Order guide. The requests that are raised by the Order guide have no references back to the original onboarding request.
Before I embark on building something to place the parent ticket number into the request / request items, is there anything already built in that does this? It feels like there should be a way of tracking a request back to the source, but I can't see a way.
If there isn't a OOB solution, can anyone recommend the best way of accomplishing this.

@Mark Van Loock Did you check the parent field on the Request? If the request is generating from an Onboarding case, ideally the parent field on request should have reference to the Onboarding HR Case.

Hi, that's what I would have hoped, but sadly it is blank. I'd like to populate that if possible. I don't know if there is anything I can enable to do that that or whether I need to build the mechanism - I'm not exactly sure what creates the REQ ticket when an order guide is submitted.
