Background:
We have an approval workflow configured in ServiceNow where approvers need to request additional information or clarification from the ticket creator before making an approval decision for a custom table record.
Requirement:
I'm looking for an out-of-the-box (OOB) solution where:
- An approver can directly contact the ticket creator to request more details about an approval ticket
- The creator receives a notification about the information request
- The creator can respond back to the approver with the requested details
- The approver is notified when the creator provides the information
Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!!!
