Hi,
Now that ServiceNow has made changes to sending emails from PDIs. I know that it no longer uses the ServiceNow controlled email accounts. Are we able to use our own email accounts to send emails or have they completely removed all access to sending emails from PDI?
I read the following information:
https://developer.servicenow.com/blog.do?p=/post/sending-emails-from-pdis/
However, it doesn't say whether we can use our own email accounts.

While outbound email seems to have been disabled in PDI's, you can still see the emails that would've been sent from the instance. Just type "Sent" in the filter navigator, then click "All" on the filter in the list and you will see all emails that would've went out.

Hi @Steven Parker,
I know that I can use the sent files but it is different when looking at it in ServiceNow versus what it looks like in email. Also, being able to send an email allows me to test out my replies or forwards.

This is true somewhat. Although you can enable Inbound emails though in Email Properties. I think it's disabled by default.
For outbound emails, I just use "Preview Email" on the email record to see what the email would've looked like.
