Owner of a Catalog Item

Good Morning,

Is it possible that a Catalog Item shows the wrong Owner and updated by name? Could this be a bug?

Hi Darlene,

can you be more specific? I am nearly sure this is not a bug as many users would notice that.

So what exactly is going on?

One thing that comes to my mind is that 'updated by' is a hard coded string so e.g. if a record has been updated by user 'user A' but then you rename that user to 'A user' the updated by will not reflect the change until it is again updated by the renamed user.
