page variant of an OOTB Page (Customer Information) not working

I created a Page Variant of the 'Customer Information' page, in Customer Central experience. (Screen captures of the settings on each variant attached). However, despite updating the 'Audience', the default page keeps showing for all users.

 

I believe, we can create a variant for an OOTB Page since we have the options. 

 

Here are the things I tried, 

1) Changed the orders

2) Added audience to both default and the new page

Hi,

Have you made any configuration changes on your variant? 

URL would be same for both pages but content would be different.

Try adding any simple component and test, you should be able to see new changes on your new page. Also make sure to change the Audience on Default page so that it will not evaluate true for end users.

Hi Anil, yes, since the new page is the duplicate of the default page, I removed few components and added some new ones. As for the audience, I have added Admin to the default variant and the one I created to the new variant. The roles are added correctly too, to the Audience record.

Please clear browser and SN cache and test in another browser.
