Password Generator utility

Hello! Let me introduce a small utility might be helpful for some of you. Sometimes you need to reset passwords for multiple users in your environment. F.e. for users that have been locked out or for all active users in one particular department. In that case you would write a background script to set a random or the default password.

For such cases I developed a utility (or a small custom app) called "Password Generator". This does have a graphical interface to define users your want to reset, you can generate and review passwords, send email notification and much more. It can be reused each time you setup a demo environment, after the golive or to unset locked out users and give them new passwords. Other scenario: you add new customer and users should be able to login to the service catalog. Instead of setting one default password for each one, you can generate unique phrases and send a notification.

To install "Password Generator" just upload the Update Set to Retrieved Updated Sets, Review and Commit. You will get new Application and some Modules, like "Getting Started", "Wizard" and "Properties".

Additional, there is a Password Randomizer as a standalone module to generate multiple passwords you can use for other purposes.

Thank you for the utility. Unfortunately the link is no longer valid and I lost the version I had downloaded. Any chance you still have it stored somewhere else?
