PDI dev309802 stuck in Offline status with 502 Bad Gateway - No Wake-up option

My Personal Developer Instance (dev309802) is currently showing as Offline in the Developer Portal, and the Wake up instance option is missing from the Actions menu.

When I try to access the URL directly, I receive a 502 Bad Gateway (snow_adc) error

Instance Version: Zurich

Region: AP-Southeast

This instance contains critical data for my graduation project. Could you please help to reset or kick-start the instance from the backend?

This seems to happen occasionally with PDIs—I've experienced the same issue myself. Unfortunately, there isn’t much official support available from ServiceNow for Personal Developer Instances. In most cases, the best option is to wait.

When this happened to me, my instance automatically came back online after about a day, so yours should hopefully recover soon as well.

I also faced the same issue recently with my PDI  it was showing Offline with 502 Bad Gateway and there was no Wake Up option available.

In my case, I didn’t do anything specific from my side. I waited for some time (around a day), and the instance automatically came back online and started working fine again.


 Suggestion:

  • Give it some time (few hours to 24 hrs)
  • Try accessing again later

I get the 502 error many times per day, no need to wait 24 hours (!!!). It is usually 3-5 minutes...

But it always require to check the PDI status as described here:

You can then see if it is restarting or what's happening, explained there.

If you have waited for more than 24 hours, in that case I will suggest  -

Release the instance and request for fresh instance.

 

There is no PDI support provided by ServiceNow. So no one can help here.
