PDI : NLU: Some features may not be available because the connection to NLU Service is not available

I have Vancouver version & all NLU plugins are enabled and when I click on NLU workbench > Models, it shows the error "Some features may not be available because the connection to NLU Service is not available. Please try again after sometime, if the issue persists log an issue with Support" and does not let me create new ones. Please share if anyone had this similar issue and was able to resolve it.

 

I have verified that this property "glide.shared_service_scheduler.url" is pointing to  https://sncmlscheduler.service-now.com/

Hello,

You cannot use the ServiceNow NLU (Natural Language Understanding) in the PDI instance, but you can utilize it in the Now Learning instance where the ServiceNow NLU plugin is already installed. Previously, I encountered this error in my PDI instance, but now I've tried it on the Now Learning instance, and it works perfectly fine.

I figured it out, or at least it worked for me. You need to reset Machine Learning. 

 
  • Switch Scope: In the top-right header, ensure your Application Scope is set to Global.
  • Navigate: Type Lab Management in the filter navigator.
  • Action: Select Repair Machine Learning Settings.
  • Execute: Click the Reset Machine Learning Settings button. Wait for the "Settings have been reset" confirmation at the top.
