Peoplesoft Integration Help

Hi all,

I am seeking some assistance on how I can accomplish a Peoplesoft integration to ServiceNow. After discussing with the client's Peoplesoft team it is confirmed that web services can be done however it is not currently configured.

They have another in house web app right now that reads an oracle database on a nightly basis to process any new hires, updates and terminations.

Now the best improvement that we suggested is to leverage web services...However me personally have never done or used webservices before. I have watched the ServiceNow videos on outbound and inbound web services...However the client's Peoplesoft admin also needs information from me so that they know how much effort it will be to configure this.

So pretty much I'm asking if anyone knows what the web service message should look like from Peoplesoft to ServiceNow so it can consume that message and know what to do with it...

If anyone has any insight in this it would be much appreciated.

Hi Jon,

If you have never done web services before I might recommend leveraging professional services from either ServiceNow or one of our fine partners. They do this sort of thing all the time and you can learn alongside them so you can support/maintain the integration going forward. That gets you fastest time to value.
