Personal Developer Instance (PDI) Still on Waitlist After 10 Days

Hello Team,

I requested a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) through the ServiceNow Developer Portal around 10 days ago. Since then, my request has remained on the waitlist with the message:

"You're waitlisted for an instance. You'll receive an email as soon as one is available."

I understand that PDIs are subject to availability, but I wanted to check whether this waiting period is normal or if there could be an issue with my account.

I need the instance to continue my ServiceNow learning, CSA preparation, and hands-on practice.

Could someone please help me with the following?

  1. Is there any issue with my account or PDI request?

  2. Is there anything I should do from my side?

  3. Should I continue waiting, or would it be better to cancel the request and submit a new one?

  4. Is there any estimated timeline for when a PDI might become available?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support.

Hi @ChinchuSP,

You can meanwhile use Lab Instances in Now Learning to do hands-on practice until you get a PDI.

Hi @ChinchuSP

Did you get an instance?

I've been waiting for a while as well. I left waitlist for Australia and now joined waitlist for Yokohama.

If you got the instance, how long did it take?

ahoy @ChinchuSP,

there's a new policy by ServiceNow to make the waiting period shorter:

Keeping PDIs Available for Active Builders: Upcoming PDI Reclamation Changes

Not sure when this will take any visible effect but FYI
