Personal instance used just 3 days ago disappeared

Hi Guys,

I have a personal instance that I'm using every 2-3 days. Last access was on friday but today, the vm is not reachable and nothing on my account. It's only asking me to build a new one. I'm really scared since I was working on a project and really needs to access to it.

The instance url is https://dev82349.service-now.com/

Anybody can help here ? I mean I have accessed to it just 3 days ago. Why it's lost ???

Hi @Sam18 ,

Sorry to say it, but there is no support for PDIS, so the only thing to do, is to spin up a new one and start over.

furthermore, if you earlier have used back-up of your PDI, then I can also inform, that of 15th of December, ServiceNow deprecated the possibility to restore instances.

Thanks for your fast reply. I perfectly understand that a personal instance is a personnal instance meaning that there is a very limited or no support on them.

What is frustating is that the doc say that if there is no activity during 10 days, the instance is automatically deleted. 

Every 3 days I manually connect to the instance to be sure that this don't happen.

But .... sounds like there is absolutely 0 reliability on this process and even if you wake it up every 3 days, the instance can suddenly dissappear and you only have your eyes to cry 😞

I have a real pain to deal with that since I'm loosing critical devs there and I respected the snow process.

@Sam18 were you able to somehow restore it or write to someone form ServiceNow to have it back? I just lost an instance which I am using every day without even being warned.

I tried to access my PDI today and it too is gone. I know I was in it on Wed morning. Having zero confidence in this functionality going forward makes it difficult to even consider setting it up again. I had already upgraded to Utah AND I had many products installed. 

Too bad ServiceNow doesn't offer a PDI instance with all the applications installed and configured. That would make life so much easier!!
