Hi Community,
Please provide some inputs regarding change request and CAB meeting before moving changes to Prod
1. which change request do i need to create for catalogue item development
2. what is the procedure do we need to follow
3. Do we need to present to CAB members created variables, Ui policies and client scripts, workflows and everything or only catalogue item in service portal and RITM and Catalog tasks

In Which instance do we need to create a change request before changes moved to Prod instance

we create change requests in PROD instance only.

Hi @Srinivasu2 ,
Please find the below comments for your queries,
1. which change request do i need to create for catalogue item development
- For Catalog item movement we usually create Normal change.
2. what is the procedure do we need to follow
a. You will have to fill out the the change request form with assignment group,Assigned to , Peer Reviewer, Short Desc etc..
b.Mention the Story details(number and describe the business requirement) and Update set in the description
c. Attach the UAT sign-off which you have received from the Client or requestor.
d. Take the Risk assessment schedule the start date and end date and send it for approval
3. Do we need to present to CAB members created variables, Ui policies and client scripts, workflows and everything or only catalogue item in service portal and RITM and Catalog tasks
-Yes you have to give an overview of the things you have done in catalog item(no need to go deep into details unless the CAB member ask you)
- Once change is approved move the change to implement state(during scheduled time ) and assign the change task to yourself and you can move your change to live during the scheduled time .Once done Close the change task and provide close code, close notes and move the change request to Review.
