I know this is a played out topic for many. However, searching through the topics seems overwhelming and daunting due to varying versions etc. I am just trying to figure out the preferred method of incorporating standardized scss/js into our company knowledge article templates.

Preferences:
- To build a global file that can be referenced cleanly with fallback scss using !default fallback, etc for themes while allowing customization as needed for layout and style.
- Not modifying core files/template files unless just to provide an include link for reference. (Due to versioning issues)
There really isn't much more needed.
