Hi @MadhusaiK

It seems like you're planning to make a change that could potentially break the system. The concept of Request Management is that when a catalog item is submitted, two records are created: REQ (Request) and RITM (Request Item).

  • The REQ record serves as the order number.
  • The RITM records represent the individual items within the request.

If you were to create only the REQ record and not the RITM records, it would be unclear which items a user has ordered, as there would be no way to track the specific items associated with that request. Without the RITM, the request would lose its granularity and the linkage to the individual items ordered, which could cause confusion and lead to issues with fulfillment and tracking.

Always ensure that both REQ and RITM records are created to maintain proper order management and tracking of requested items.
