Question Regarding Platform Analytics

All availability metrics use “outage hours and minutes “ to calculate with total outage hours divided by total monthly hours = percentage of availability [Example: February has 28 days x 24 = 672 hours ]

Outage has 30 minutes = 0.5 hours

1-(0.5/672) % 100 percent =99.9256%

How can I do this as this is my first time deeply exploring Platform Analytics?

Hi @PrashantLearnIT ,

First of all, it is important to understand if you have performance analytics enabled on your instance. If not, then it will not be possible, as you need automated indicators and formula indicators to do the calculation.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Hi @PrashantLearnIT ,

So basic you need an automated indicator to capture the outage duration and a formula indicator to do the calculation. If you're not familiar with performance analytics, I would recommend the online training provided by ServiceNow to understand the concept and how things are connected to each other.
