"Match Regex" reference qualifier not working

Good Morning,
I am trying to apply a "match regex" reference qualifier condition to a catalog variable, however every time I include this or "match pattern" the entire reference field breaks and returns nothing. 

I know that my regex is formatted correctly, as we tested it in VSCode: /-LD\d/g

Is this a known bug in the system?

The "matches regex" issue that you are experiencing is a known problem ticket that is documented in (PRB603878).
