Hello all.
I'm trying to set up CMDB Integration from Rapid7, but I encountered an unexpected error when I added the credentials.
I'm following the Installation Guide which appears here: https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/application/235cc4771b30fd106bf1ed78b04bcb...
Step 2.2.2 guides to create insightVM configuration with access credentials...
I have an user created in our InsightVM environment, and I can access it via browser, and I can do ping from MID Server host... then all must be OK, but once I set the Credentials it continuously fails:
I checked log and it indicates the following:
"Error message: The request failed: Request not sent to uri= https://insightvm.xxxxxxxx:3780/api/3/assets/?size=1&page=0 : org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpException: Session contains no certificates - Untrusted"
I checked the MID Server's logs and it contains some lines regarding the same issue.
I can't understand why it is failing, as the user is properly set (as commented, I can access with these credentials to the InsightVM tool from MID Server's host), neither I can find any information that helps me solving the issue by looking for the error message, or anyone who has issues on this point o the implementation.
Is there a particular configuration needed into the MID Server? is needed to insall any InsightVM agent in the MID host? InsightVM needs to have any particular role/capability? Any clue about what could be happening?
Thanks in advance.
