Record producer not searchable on Portal...question

Hello,
I've got a record producer that has a catalog and a category set for it to show on the Service Portal. I have checked to make sure the record producer is not set to "no search" and it isn't. But for some reason when you search on the main portal page the item still is not showing up.
It wasn't showing up in the category it was set to either, so I pulled the catalog and category and re-added them. Now the item shows up in the category but it will not show up in the search still.
Any ideas?

Is there a user criteria which might be restricting it?

It ended up being some sort of syncing issue. I came back a few days later to the issue and tested it again and it had shown up in the search. Was a really odd one.

Can you search in the Service portal-->portals ,then add the catalog items into the search sources list.May be it will work.

This works now. It was some sort of sync issue. After a few days it started working.
