Reference Qualifier

I have two fields "Select the group" and "Select the branch" . I have a table Sys_choice where I have Element Group and another Element Branch in the Element Branch table I have a field "dependent value" where I have set the Group name and as an example I have Group named IT Operations and a Branch named Networks that belongs to IT Operations. I need to set a reference qualifier on "Select the branch" to limit the values after the "Select the group" has been chosen in the ESC Portal.

according to you description, then you’re utilizing sys_choice table. Reference qualifiers are for reference fields where sys_choice table are meant for choice fields. So either jeg need to have your fields as choice type or you need to utilize the reference fields and write e.g. a client script with Ajax to make the branch only show the branches based on group selection.
