Rejected Approval- Prevent Closed Incomplete of RITM and TASKs - Where?

As part of a process we developed, we are using an approval as part of our workflow, but when the approval is REJECTED, we do not want to close the RITM or TASK, we just want the flow to continue down that reject path in the workflow.

We are not finding where on sysapproval or elsewhere this is getting flipped though, and was hoping for some guidance on preventing this from happening.

Their is a Business Rule - task closer.

When the related ticket is closed, its related task is also closed automatically.

Try to inactive this and check whether it is helpful in your case.

@jlaps  can you send  screenshot of workflow and approval activity.

Basically most possible cause is your workflow auto driven or manually driven?
