Remove '+' icon from knowledge category picker for Knowledge managers

Hi All,

We want to disable the '+' icon from category picker of knowledge for knowledge_managers

needs to restrict the + icon to Knowledge admin and Admin role persons

Please find the attached screenshot

Hi,

 

Seems that come from a macro that will have to be altered. Can you check link for a check as it has all possible options.

This can be done only for all users. It is set per Knowledge base.

Go to Knowledge> Administration> Knowledge Bases and set "Disable category editing" to true:

Disable category editing Option to disable editing of knowledge categories. If selected, only knowledge managers can add or edit knowledge categories for the knowledge base.

After enabling the field : 'Disable category editing',Still manager of that respective knowledge base is able to see the + icon on category picker.

Our requirement is to show + icon to only knowledge admins
