Please do as follows in navigation
type Employee Center > Activity Configuration > click Requests > rename it there.
after that open the Request record rename it accordingly.
this is before update

Did you check the widget which shows that?
I couldn't see that in my esc portal
when I click My Requests on header menu this shows up
