Reopen a closed RITM

Hi All

RITM has been marked as closed complete and workflow is ended. Now I want to create an UI Action to "Reopen RITM".

Once I click on that button , it should create  new tasks and RITM state should change to open and tasks should work according to RITM workflow.

Please assist on this issue.

If you have that code, it would be of interest to me.  I was asked to make a "tentative" state for a request where they could go back and edit the info and re-submit if the approver had comments on the item.   And I don't think there is a way (or at least a good way) to do that, but if I had the info loaded into the new form so that they didn't have to retype/select everything all over, they might be more amenable to my stating that it just needs to be rejected and then sent in with the corrections.

As Adam says the basis of this is based around consuming an item. It's not about a dialog about if it is fixed.

So you ask for an item and it is delivered - but I wanted more I wanted you to....

It's a business decision but you need to define what your service catalog can provide and what it can not.

 

Seriously, If you want to go with I am not happy that this has been delivered I'd go for a complaints management system.

You can create states and rules around managing them but I would advise against it.

If you have a significant number of requests where you think they are done and the customer doesn't there is a bigger issue.
