I have a requirement to create a custom world map report based on the Region choice field.
Below are the choices available in Incident form for the same.
The requirement is to separate out the Regions for ex. Available choices are US, Japan, Europe and APAC so from this we have two Continents i.e. APAC and Europe and 2 countries i.e. US and Japan to populate the World Map.
Below is the base configuration that we have done till now :
Where for Europe region we marked the "France" country and for APAC region we marked the "China" country.
The Configuration we did to achieve this:
1. Created a Map source based on Region field available in Incident form.
2. Create a level 1 mapping based on Country mapping option.
3. Edited the Key values based on Region Choice field.
Ex. Edited the name of China to APAC and France to Europe.
As per the final result our requirement is that for Europe, we need to highlight whole Europe region and same with the case of APAC (Highlight whole APAC region excluding Japan) where US and Japan will be treated the same.
