[Resolved]- Search Portal - How to configure new Faceted Search in portal

Hello servicenow community, hope all is well with you.

I'm here because I would like to clarify a doubt with you regarding the portal's search field with the following situation:

I have an old catalog that has been discontinued and I have a catalog that was created from scratch with a new structure, categories and items.

What happens is that I need to configure this field to carry out faceted and suggestive searches with the new catalog, that is, when the portal user types some words, the search should show the suggestions while typing.
I couldn't find where I can point so that searches in the search field are pointed to the base of the new catalog and not the old one.

Hi @Romario DPO ,

Search facets render in the Faceted Search widget on the sp_search page. To enable search facets after upgrade, activate the page route map record to route your search results to render in the sp_search page.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Service Portal > Page Route Maps.
  2. Locate the Search record in the list.
    This record redirects users from the search page to the sp_search page when viewing search results in Service Portal. The sp_search page includes the Faceted Search widget, which supports search facets in both desktop and mobile environments.
  3. Set the Active field to true.

Sandeep,
The proposed solution does not work for me.

Explaining in a better way, I just need to configure the field so that it performs searches and offers suggestions to the portal user with information from the new catalog and not from the old catalog.
What I wanted to know is if you can remove the typehead search from the old catalog and point to the base of the new catalog.
