Restoring a git repository after an upgrade - Upgrading the base plugin to the latest version.

Hi,

 

We recently cloned our Prod instance in DEV and did an upgrade to Xanadu, we are trying to restore our repository connections to resume development and some application have been giving us a similar message.

 

The customization for "Human Resources: Employee Relations" is based on Washingtondc Patch 9a, but the current plugin version is Xanadu Patch 4. Do you want to continue?

 

How do we progress pass this and base it on the latest patch?

I know the simple answer would be just click "Yes" and continue, but I want to make sure this is the way to go.
