Xanadu Patch 0
Is there a way to restrict access to the Process Mining Workspace? We want to hide it from all but admins for now. I edited the menu item and added admin to Roles on the Visibility tab but that doesn't seem to be working. Non-admin users can still access it.
I even tried unchecking Active but that's not working either. All users can still see it and access it.
Thank you!

It's been a while since I did this but here are some notes I found:
Navigated to Process Mining... Clicked the edit module option for the Process Mining Workspace menu item. Clicked Roles to edit user roles and added admin. Clicked Update.
This prevented Process Mining Workspace from appearing in the left navigation for non-admin users.
To remove it from the workspaces banner menu:
Navigated to Experiences under Now Experience Framework
Searched for process mining workspace in title; opened the record.
Made process mining workspace inactive (this removes it from the workspaces banner menu)
Hope this helps.

Thanks, its super helpful!
So for the banner, its safe to inactivate it and in case we want to utilize it in the future, we just activated it again right?

I believe so. And if you want it to appear in the left navigation menu for non-admin users, then you need to edit that menu item and remove admin from Roles.

Here is the solution:
Hide/ Restrict Process Mining workspace for specific roles - Support and Troubleshooting
Resolution
Since the above ACL is in read only scope(Process Mining) for admins , only ServiceNow engineers with maint role can modify this ACL record.
Workaround: As an alternative, please create a "Deny unless" ACL to restrict the process mining workspace to a specific role or condition.
