I have a new scoped app, with a custom parent table that is extended to an incident like table.
For example:
Table1 (make extensible = true)
Table 2 (extends table = Table1)
There is no interaction/relationship to the Task table at all.
I have an Additional Comments and Work Notes fields and have added the Activities formatter, however when a comment or note is added they do not at all appear in the activities formatter.
This is my first time trying this stuff, so would someone be able to assist with this please? I will need pretty clear instructions.

@Ankur Bawiskar thanks for the link, I've followed the steps as best I can and don't get anything showing at all for the activity formatter created on the actual record form.
I followed the steps to create the formatter, no issue
Added the formatter to my form - all good
I do not at all understand how to do this step:
Right-click the Activityheader in the form and choose Personalize Activity to select the fields of interest.
If it is the right click at the top of my record to get the menu up, I did that, however there is no option to "choose personalize activity".
I have created the system property and named it:
I then added the fields I want into the value:
short_description,priority,state,impact,urgency,work_notes,description,additional_comments,number
The formatter is on the form, but on a record it doesn't show anything

No it doesn't appear to be, I've gone into each of the fields and enabled auditing, however not sure how to turn on auditing for the table?
