I have a Script field type on a form, neither UI Policy or Client Script works on setting this one field to Read-Only. I didn't see any documentation stating that this functionality is not available for the Script field type.
Please let me know if there is any documentation regarding this!

Hi @Vin Fredrick ,
I think there is a problem with setting the script field as RO UI policy and CS as you mentioned. Read Only option on dictionary form works, however there isn't any OOTB read only script field.
When I investigated the all OOTB UI policies, I can say there isn't a UI policy action which works on RO attribute of an script field. There are OOTB UI policy actions which change mandatory and visible attribute of the script field. I think you need to try this way.
Please mark my answer as helpful and the solution accepted if it serves the purpose.
