search field on document list in employee center

How can I add search field (next to new button) on this document list in employee center?

I don't see any new button on your screenshot. Also, from your screenshot i learn that you don't have right access to view the records.

I encircled the new button. 

 I can definitely open each document on this list.

I just want a search field added next to "new" in case hundred of documents where created.
