Service Catalog Request Approvals

Hi,

How do I configure the approvals for service item requests in the Service Catalog?

I have created service request items, and it is pending approval.

However, I do not know where to navigate to in order to configure the approvals.

If you're asking how to set up the approval flow, you will use workflow editor to build/change workflows. For every RITM, there are two workflows that run. The first is on the Request. This is an approval that runs for the entire cart. I believe the out of box Request workflow sends an approval when the total cart cost is a certain amount. In our instance, we deactivated that workflow and built our own that sends only certain items through a manager approval at the request level. Or you could have your request level workflow only go immediately to "approved" so that you can handle your approvals entirely through the requested items. For those workflows, it depends upon which workflow is in the workflow field on the catalog item. Once the request level moves to approved, the requested item workflows start running. To show the approvals pending, you'll want to include the approval related list or approvers formatter on the form. This allows people to view the approvals that are created against the record.

When I looked under the workflow editor, I did not see workflow for "RITM" or Requests.


Where would I find the approval process for service requests via the Catalog?



I would like to modify the approval process.
