I recently requested activation of the Service Mapping plugin on my Personal Developer Instance, but it has not been activated yet.
Just wanted to report this and check if there are any additional steps or approvals required from my side.

if that plugin wasn't activated yet, then go and activate it again.
What do you see here:
https://yourinstance.service-now.com/now/app-manager/home/plugin/id/com.snc.service-mapping/details
If that doesn't work for whatever reason, then go to the link below and scroll down and search "service mapping" in the search bar: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance
there is an option to Activate with or without demo data, click and that is it:
