Service Portal - eCommerce with Payment Gateway

Hi all,

I've seen some old (unanswered) threads on this topic, but wanted to raise something new and a bit more specific/to the point.

I'm currently researching options for building a complete eCommerce portal experience in ServiceNow, using Service Portal. Think any typical storefront website such as Amazon etc.

So, ServiceNow has the Catalog Items, Cart, Pricing, etc all covered. It just seems to be the payment area that's a little bit uncertain.

Has anyone previously researched options for Payment Gateways that can be integrated with ServiceNow? It seems like PayPal would be the most obvious way to go, but has anyone ever actually DONE this integration in Service Portal? If so, I'd love to hear from you.

Are there alternatives to PayPal? Other gateway services (accepting VISA, Mastercard, etc) that are known to be "compatible" with Service Portal?

Any thoughts/feelings welcome 🙂

I also wanted to know how can we do the payment integration in service portal. Were you able to figure it out?

Hi Guys,

I have posted an article about payment gateway integration in the portal.

Hopefully, these may help you.

Hello! Another PayPal-based payment solution for e-commerce projects is Braintree. The platform covers 44 countries and more than 130 currencies. The ease of operation and convenient checkout procedure make Braintree the preferred payment gateways provider for online businesses of any size, including giants such as Airbnb. For example, for our company, this has become the best solution related to payment gateways. I am sure that this may suit you as well.

Hey! Stripe is a really good thing for e-commerce, which I’ve learned based on y experience. It is an effective service, so you may need it too. And it is smart to do business with the help of the internet today; sadly, I didn’t know this before and wasted a lot of time for nothing. I tried to get clients in real life with the help of banners and tv adverts, but it doesn’t work anymore. And eCommerce occurred to be easier! Thanks to transformagency.com, I’ve managed to establish a stable client base pretty quickly
