First of all - I absolutely love the new service portal, It is light years ahead of the old CMS portal. For me, the only down side is Order guides.
Has anyone come up with any better - more user friendly and faster solutions for rendering order guides in the service portal?
We have 50+ Items, all with cascading variables - and even with the updates to SP Order Guides in Istanbul, it is still too slow.
And I am really not a fan of the way it is laid out with constant scrolling to get to the items - the old tabbed view was so much better in my opinion.
Has anyone come up with a better solution that they would be willing to share? My angular knowledge is not the best, I can tinker around and get places with a lot of trial and error but I think for this - I need something new.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Harry

Did you ever get a solution for this? I am having a delayed response with my order guide as well in Jakarta. I have a ticket open with support but haven't gotten far with a solution. The delay is horrible. I have 18 items in my order guide. I am using variable sets in each of the RITMs but not in the order guide itself. I am passing 49 variables from the order guide to the ritms.
I have a second order guide which isn't as delayed as much as the the first one. It has 22 options and is not using any variable sets; I don't know if that could be it. I am passing 42 variables (not including container variables which would make it more).
I tried taking out the variable sets in one of the items in the problem order guide and it was a ton of work for just the one. Since it was only one ritm, I can't tell if it did anything to make it better. I would probably have to remove the variable sets from more ritms to see if it makes a difference, but just doing the one took most of Friday to remove.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
