Hey Folks,,

 

Good Day!!

 

 Can someone help me to sort the order of the catalog items in a particular category, which is in the service portal. Any assistance would be sincerely appreciated..

To sort the order of catalog items within a specific category in the Service Portal, you can follow these steps:

 

Navigate to the Service Portal Builder:

Go to the Service Portal application in your ServiceNow instance.

Access the Service Portal Builder.

 

Locate the Category Widget:

Find the widget that displays the catalog items within the desired category. This widget might be a "Catalog Item List" or similar, depending on your portal configuration.

 

Edit the Widget Properties:

Edit the properties of the widget displaying the catalog items.

Look for an option related to sorting or ordering items.

 

Choose Sorting Criteria:

Select the sorting criteria you want to apply. This could be based on item name, item ID, creation date, or any custom field.
