  • Requirement is to enable 2 way integration between ServiceNow and ADO and design a way to manage a single backlog, but to maintain integrity of original service ticketSo can any one guide me on this how to achieve this requirement.

Hi @TreadingH2O, All of Unito's integrations are fully configurable, so they are not necessarily predefined. However, they can connect bidirectionally to Azure DevOps, meaning any data added or updated in one tool will be reflected in the other, and vice versa. Obviously, this will depend on what rules you have set up, though. I recommend you check out this article that explains how the integration works.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between what is offered by the Integration Hub vs. Unito?

Hi @TreadingH2O - IntegrationHub is an in-platform product from ServiceNow that has “spokes” you can use to configure an integration between ServiceNow and ADO through the use of pre-defined actions. Those actions are used in “flows” and "subflows" which handle the integration triggers, conditions and overall logic. Unito is a third-party service that enables an integration between ServiceNow and ADO without the need to configure actions, flows and subflows. Provided credentials to both applications (ServiceNow and Azure DevOps), Unito will keep records in both applications in sync based on your preferences, filters and field mappings that you configure in Unito (see the link in Josh's reply or click here). To put it simply, you can “build” an integration with ServiceNow’s IntegrationHub or you can “configure” an integration with Unito.

Hi Mathieu,

There are various solutions out there that can help you with this type or need. Each and everyone one of them with it's pros and cons. Integrations hub being one of them. Unito is another option that offers out-of-the-box bidirectional syncing. You can take a look at the step by step approach in this walkthrough article (with video): https://unito.io/blog/how-to-integrate-servicenow-azure-devops/

Don't hesitate if you have any questions and good luck!
