ServiceNow Instance and Performance script

Any recommended reading for understanding diagnostics of the health, memory usage, java uptime of nodes that make up the ServiceNow instance. I am trying to find uptimes of the nodes to try and troubleshoot what may be recycling nodes.  Is it a memory issue? or is it the amount of transactions?
