Hi all,
Since December, there have been numerous issues with sync the PDIs. We have had to rebuild the PDI multiple times, and the syn does NOT update, still stuck on December 22nd. Why does this keep happening? Just seems like ServiceNow should be able to run much more efficiently. Any new features to show the Client is just not going to happen at this point. Well they are about to lose a Client, they are already starting to put RFPs for another product..... Smh. I tried to savage this many times, but when our SN Account rep has been MIA since August 2025, even though we sent her multiple invites to save this account, my hands are tied. She will figure out when the funding is pulled, why swimming in the pool, then house hunting for two months is not more important than servicing the Customer! It's called, if you do not have the bandwidth, delegate.... business has to go on.
Why is the PDI not syncing after multiple rebuilds?

Hi @kathymorris
Not sure what is your question but just to add, PDI doesn't come with support which means no one have any information why PDI went down or when back , why it's going offline again and again. We community members just sharing information based on our experience supporting the community.

I already know there is no support for the PDIs. My question posted, like many others, is does anyone in this forum know what the issue is? Why can we not synch consistently with the Store? Has anyone heard anything that they can share?

Hi Kathy,
thank you for sharing your experience, do I understand it correctly that you used PDI for client's presentation and demo purposes?
If so, then you won't like to hear it but PDIs are not intended for business or production usage and doing so violates the ServiceNow Terms of use... The purpose is to help you explore (new/unknown) features and decide whether that thing is suitable for deployment in a real instance or not, eventually for debugging or fixing ideas.
If you need an environment for sessions involving customers, the correct approach is to use a licensed instance rather than a PDI which is without support for the reasons explained above. No support for free PDIs because the support is guaranteed for licensed instances instead...
With this complaining about limited functionalities caused by misuse of PDIs and violation of the terms of use doesn't sound fair to me, what do you reckon @kathymorris?
Refer to this:
"PDIs are NOT intended to be used for business or production purposes. Using a PDI for business or production is a violation of the ServiceNow Developer Site Agreement. "
