ServiceNow to Planview user provisioning

Hi All,

 

I am working on an integration between ServiceNow to Planview for user provisioning. User is getting created in Planview. I have configured this by using soap message and a flow. 

 

Does anyone know how to grant permissions to the newly created user based on the role which is assigned.

  1. "Permissions - This is a hidden field on the Project that can be updated by a PM, Owner or Admin. If you search the property card search field for Permission, you can add a user and type of permission (editor or viewer).
  2. Custom action - Last, if this is all locked down and you want users to have the ability to make a change even if they are not editors on the Project, a custom intake form can be configured to allow users to make changes. "

Thanks for your response. The requirement is to add these grants based on the role selected on the catalog form through automation only from ServiceNow. Is it possible to grant permissions like this during user creation?

Hi @Joshuu ,

 

Please connect with the Planview team, as they need to provide the appropriate APIs and confirm whether any permissions are required.

If additional permissions are needed, please ensure they are granted to the integration service account.

 

Unlike ServiceNow, Planview's documentation is not as extensively available, so it would be best to coordinate directly with their team for the necessary details and guidance.
