ServiceNow to (Supplier) ServiceNow Integration

Hi all,

I am looking to find out if anyone has done an integration between ServiceNow instances.

The scenario is that our supplier also uses ServiceNow, what would be required is the following:

  • Our ServiceDesk to raise an incident and it get logged on our suppliers ServiceNow instance
  • Both us and the supplier update the incident as and when required
  • For us and the supplier only see the incidents that have been raised with one another

Has anyone done this or something similar? What i would like to do is do the integration from my organisation ServiceNow instance and my personal instance, to ensure i've got it working as expected.

Kindest regards,

M

Hi Mohammed,

This is fairly easy using a REST table API.

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for your reply, I have been looking at REST API's, but not sure where/how to start this, as I have not done this before.

Any practical help, where someone has done this would be very much appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

Hi Mohammed,

Another option for you to consider would be an integration platform that sits between your instance and your supplier's instance, and keeps the two in sync. Perspectium has delivered exactly what you are after ... at several large Managed Service Providers who needed the functionality you describe. Take a look at the recorded webinar we did with Accenture to get a feel for the problem their outsourcing group were trying to solve, and how they got to where they are today with Perspectium.

Cheers,

Craig.
